Challenge: Generate excitement and social connectivity on a grass-roots level for an aspiring US Senator.
Solution: We build a brand upon the tagline “Our Freedom. Our Fight.” It embodies the desire of the candidate to first gain insight and information through honest and organic discussions on political issues that matter most to the people of Missouri. Secondly, the brand should excite and involve the candidate’s political supporters, allowing them to help raise money in support of her bid for election to the U.S. Senate.
The brand is augmented online with a website that acts as an digital campaign headquarters. Issue-related video content was created, and real-time issue-related discussions (occurring in a variety of social media channels) were tracked and displayed predominantly on the site as part of the “Free Market of Ideas.”
Accessibility on a variety of platforms and devices was accomplished by using the HTML5 video tag and a graceful fall-back for older browsers. Rather than creating native applications, a mobile-version of the site was created and optimized for use on a variety of smart phones using a responsive web design.
Additional outreach efforts include: participation in several social media channels, email marketing, donation collection and digital sentiment analysis.
