I’ve been busy

Swamped actually. Between the demanding position as the new Interactive Creative Director at MediaCross, and my demanding friends & freelance clients, I have been working really hard on a few projects over the past two months. I’ve been working in trade on a couple of pieces in order to help out some new small businesses in this down economy, which is paying for wedding flowers, cocktails, and concerts. This all started back in August around the time I went out ... more → Read!

It sure wasn’t when media professionals started talking about it all the time. People are interesting. Their stories, hobbies, ideas… all interesting. Real stuff is interesting. Brands can be interesting. Even ads can be interesting. But media? Remember how former United States ... more → Read!

Facebook? More like, Fiascobook.

It’s coming. “Soon you will be able to have a username.” Facebook’s countdown is set for Friday, June 12th, 11:01CST. Just after the stroke of eleven, the world’s biggest nerds will frantically begin logging into Facebook with the intent on grabbing as many great vanity URLs they can land across several accounts. To their misfortune, unsuspecting companies around the world will ignore this. For unsuspecting business owners, the Facebook vanity ... more → Read!

Over the past few weeks, I’ve discussed Twitter more often than I’ve actually used the service. I’ve held training sessions, created presentations and debated the value of the service to both users and advertisers. I guess I shouldn’t have been shocked to find, upon my return to the business networking service this week, that the current LinkedIn trend is to fill every single group discussion board with topical conversation about Twitter. It’s ... more → Read!

Premier Entertainment Agency Needs Premium Myspace Layout

Talent-Plus is a full service talent and entertainment booking agency. As strange as it is for this company to be located in the midwest rather than NYC or LA, the St. Louis company maintains the most diverse roster of exclusive artists in the country. As a service TalentPlus manages the image of the models, artists, comedians, musicians, speakers they represent. It is equally important for TalentPlus’ division of college campus entertainment to retain the appearance ... more → Read!
